Price is an aspect that people consider primarily. It is usually the point of decision making for any individual if it would either buy a commodity or good, or on the other side of the fence, sell or not sell. The problem is there are a lot of individuals and groups that do not take into consideration the other factors that are needed to be looked at in order to make the right decisions. It is the same in a business environment.

There are reasons why firms are established by entrepreneurs and choose not to be sole-proprietors. Corporations often enjoy incentives that are not readily available to sole proprietorship. The benefits of written laws such as constitutions, are not the only ones that a firm obtains. There are also some other factors that give them the advantage.

In Economics, there is a term called "economies of scale". With regards to this topic, this deals with managers, officers covering different specializations therefore giving the firm an advantage. Any person cannot be a master of all trades. This is also the reason why people study different specializations in the academe. There is a demand for specializations. Given a firm with a lot of special skilled laborers, managers, employees, the firm reduces costs such as human error, organizational costs, time of transaction which turns to optimized operations and increased profits.

Knowing such information is still limited. Firms should be able to identify which structure they want to impose on. There are numerous management styles that people are comfortable employing. This means that a company must adhere a structure beneficial to the style of management the owners of the business would like to have in their business. Choosing the right structure would be able to make the firm efficient and effective.

These things cannot be achieved by a single person, a single mind, a single entrepreneur. Coase as well as the other scholars focus on efficiency. A business organization should run like a well-oiled machine. Like a machines which is composed with a lot of parts, an organization is made up of individuals with different specializations aiming to achieve a goal.

By limiting costs, reaching its "economies of scale", these sets of individuals with a common goal is a perfeect recipe for an efficient and effective business organization.
